I hope 2019 is full of the quiet beauty we found here on our hike around Hartley Nature Center in Duluth. I hope to find poems in journals that make my heart stop, and maybe some of my own poems can do the same for other readers. And essays. There are a few things I plan to apply to over this coming year that have me full of anxious hope: we shall see what each step forward brings.
